The Informatics Student Association (HMIF) has distributed donations to communities affected by a fire disaster in Central Aceh Regency as part of its commitment to supporting communities in need.
The fundraising campaign was held from August 19 to 28, 2026, as an initiative to express concern and solidarity with residents affected by the fire. The campaign received support from various individuals and groups who contributed to helping those impacted by the disaster.
The donations collected included cash, medicines, decent clothing, blankets and mats, personal hygiene and cleaning supplies, school supplies for children, baby necessities, and basic food items.
The collected donations were distributed by HMIF and officially handed over to the Reje of Jeget Ayu Village, Jagong Jeget District, Central Aceh Regency, on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The assistance was subsequently distributed to residents affected by the fire.
This initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility among Informatics students toward communities facing difficult circumstances. The assistance is expected to help ease the burden on affected residents and support their essential needs during the recovery period following the disaster.
HMIF expresses its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to and supported the fundraising campaign. The association hopes that the assistance will provide meaningful benefits to the affected communities and that every contribution will become a valuable act of kindness for all those involved.
