The Informatics Student Association (HMIF) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala, successfully held the Dedikasi Informatika (DETIK) 2025 community service program in Lampuyang Village, Pulo Aceh District, Aceh Besar, on 20–24 August 2025. Carrying the theme “Informatics in Action: Connecting the Unseen,” the program aimed to extend the benefits of knowledge while strengthening the relationship between students and the local community.
Through this initiative, Informatics students contributed directly by organizing educational, creative, and social activities. DETIK 2025 served as a platform for students to put the values of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education into practice, bringing meaningful impact to children, youth, and adults in the village.
The series of activities began with a send-off ceremony at FMIPA USK, followed by the team’s departure to Lampuyang Village. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the community and officially opened the event at the village’s Madrasah Hall.
Throughout the program, HMIF conducted various activities such as literacy and basic English lessons for students of SDN Lampuyang, student competitions, leaf collage crafts, and a department introduction session for students of SMAN 2 Pulo Aceh. The team also facilitated educational games, a community clean-up, and Independence Day traditional competitions with local residents.

The program concluded on the evening of 23 August 2025 with a reflection session, closing remarks, and the presentation of souvenirs. The team returned to Banda Aceh the following morning via Lampuyang Port.
Through DETIK 2025, HMIF USK hopes to inspire the community while strengthening students’ sense of social responsibility. The program stands as a testament to the commitment of Informatics students to continue contributing through knowledge, service, and meaningful action.
