Banda Aceh – The Informatics Student Association (HMIF) of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) conducted its Informatics Goes To School (IGTS) program at MA Darul Ulum Banda Aceh on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The program is part of HMIF’s community engagement initiative, aiming to introduce students to the field of informatics and provide information about the Informatics Study Program at Universitas Syiah Kuala.

The event began with an opening session, followed by the screening of the Informatics Study Program profile video, which introduced students to the academic environment, facilities, and student activities at USK. The committee then presented several innovative projects developed by Informatics students and introduced various fields of study, including Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Networks, and Artificial Intelligence. The presentations were delivered through interactive sessions and educational games, creating an engaging learning experience for the participants.

The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where students enthusiastically discussed university life, current technological developments, and career opportunities in the field of informatics. Through this program, HMIF USK hopes to broaden students’ understanding of information technology and inspire them to pursue higher education and careers in the rapidly evolving digital era.
