Banda Aceh, March 5, 2026 – The Religious Affairs Department of the Informatics Student Association (HMIF) at Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) once again organized an iftar gathering with the Informatics family. The event took place at the Hall of Building D, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), USK, and served as a meaningful moment to strengthen the bonds between students, lecturers, and staff within the Informatics Department.

The event was attended by active Informatics students from the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts. In addition, several lecturers and staff members of the Informatics Department were also present, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the gathering.

This year, the iftar gathering carried the theme “Moving Forward Together in a Blessed Month.” The theme was chosen to encourage stronger relationships and unity among members of the Informatics community at Universitas Syiah Kuala, especially in embracing the holy month of Ramadan as a moment to strengthen bonds and foster togetherness.

The event began with an opening session hosted by the master of ceremonies, Ahmad Hanif. It was followed by a welcoming speech and a short religious talk delivered by the Head of the Organizing Committee, Teuku Fikram Al Syahbanna. In his message, he emphasized the importance of maintaining brotherhood, strengthening faith during the holy month of Ramadan, and using this special time to enhance relationships among fellow members of the Informatics community.

After the religious talk, the participants proceeded to break their fast together, starting with light refreshments and drinks. The gathering then continued with the Maghrib prayer performed in congregation, followed by a communal dinner that further strengthened the sense of unity and togetherness among participants.

The event concluded with a group photo session as documentation and as a memorable closing to the gathering.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the bonds of friendship and solidarity within the Informatics community of Universitas Syiah Kuala will continue to grow stronger, making Ramadan a meaningful moment to reinforce togetherness and harmony.
