Banda Aceh – Students from the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), have once again brought pride to the university through their outstanding achievement at the national level. Shafa Disya Aulia and Dea Zasqia Pasaribu Malau successfully won a Silver Medal at the Final Essay Presentation of IDEA Festival 5, held in Bogor.

IDEA Festival is a national competition that brings together talented students from various universities across Indonesia to present innovative ideas and solutions through essay writing and presentations. Participants are challenged to develop creative, impactful, and sustainable ideas that address real-world issues.

Through dedication, thorough preparation, and strong presentation skills, Shafa Disya Aulia and Dea Zasqia Pasaribu Malau impressed the judges with their innovative proposal, earning them the Silver Medal in the competition.

This achievement demonstrates the capability of Informatics students at USK to compete and excel at the national level. It also reflects the department’s commitment to fostering innovation, critical thinking, and academic excellence among its students.
