Students of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) have once again achieved remarkable success on the international stage. A team consisting of Muhammad Azani Irvand and Aska Shahira from the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, USK, along with Sabrina Syahlia from the Biology Study Program, FMNS USK, earned several awards at the International Business Plan Competition (IBPC), held in Malaysia on August 15–16, 2026.
The team secured 2nd Place in the Business Plan competition and Best Paper in the Overall Category. They also won a Gold Medal in the Business Plan competition and Favorite Poster in the Technology Category.
These achievements demonstrate the students’ ability to develop innovative business ideas and present them creatively and competitively at the international level. Winning multiple awards in the same competition reflects the team’s hard work, creativity, and strong collaboration.
The Department of Informatics, FMIPA USK, extends its congratulations and appreciation to Muhammad Azani Irvand, Aska Shahira, and Sabrina Syahlia for their outstanding achievements. This accomplishment is expected to inspire them and other students to continue developing their potential, creating innovative ideas, and bringing pride to Universitas Syiah Kuala at national and international competitions.
